Annotation

Their 5th single, released 29 April 1983. This is the re-recorded version of the '82 original "Pale Shelter (You Don't Give Me Love)" single release. Produced by Chris Hughes and Ross Cullum and reissued as a single to promote the recently released LP "The Hurting". Mercury released numerous picture discs and coloured vinyl releases, in all, 11 different variations of the re-released single are available.

One of Tears for Fears' oldest songs, "Pale Shelter" (along with "Suffer The Children") was originally recorded for the duo's first demo tape in 1981. The title of the song is a reference to "Pale Shelter Scene", a 1941 drawing by British sculptor Henry Moore.
