From the booklet:

  • Tylman Susato's Third Music Book (often known simply as the "Danserye") is a collection of popular dance arrangements published in Antwerp in 1551.
  • In 1599 Thomas Morley published The first Booke of Consort Lessons, a purely instrumental collection comprising some of his own compositions alongside arrangements of works by his contemporaries.
